
**CELL PHONES FOR SOLDIERS**
More than 150,000 troops are serving overseas and are away from their families.
The Summerville Family YMCA is requesting residents of Summerville and the surrounding communities to support these brave men and women by donating your unused cell
phones
to the organization, Cell Phones for Soldiers. Phones may be dropped off at the
Downtown
YMCA location: 208 W. Doty St.

YMCA Family Fun Night
Friday, July 24 - Invite your friends!
5:00-8:00pm
Come and enjoy family activities such as swimming, bingo, Zumba, yoga, tween
room
games, Wii games, Dave Corless, our magic lesson instructor, will be there to
give
magic demonstrations. We ask that all participants bring healthy dishes to share
with all. FREE!

JULY FUN DAY
On June 29th we had our first association-wide LUAU and it was such fun! So, in July,
please
join us for another FUN DAY on Monday, July 27--it will be Crazy Hat Day. Wear
your
favorite, or craziest hat...don't be left out!

YMCA COOKBOOK
The YMCA is creating a cookbook and we need your greatest recipes for appetizers,
beverages, soups, salads, vegetables, sides, entrees, breads, dessers and kid
friendly
recipes too! Recipes may be dropped off at any YMCA faciity or you may
email them to Wendy.
